Report Downgraded Traffic or No Traffic
It would be great if we had the option to report No Traffic or Downgrade traffic patterns from Heavy, Moderate to No Traffic. There have been times where I would be traveling down a road that was reported as Heavy Traffic and I was not able to report that their was no traffic at all. I believe this type of feature would be helpful to Users when trying locate alternative routes. Thanks.

Can we have a function to down grade traffic congestion if we see traffic has returned to normal flow.
Live traffic congestion information is so important and is a great, however can we have the function to down grade congestion to further improve travel times? -

During a long drive from Austria to Germany (~630 km), I noticed that Waze frequently showed traffic jams on the map (red lines), even though there was no congestion at all. This happened multiple times and caused confusion while driving on the Autobahn, where anticipating traffic can directly impact safety.
Currently, there is no way to report that a traffic jam is not actually there, (not via CarPlay at least). This creates a gap in the feedback loop: users can report a jam, but cannot correct false data if Waze incorrectly flags congestion.
I’d like to suggest the following improvements:
1. Add a “No traffic jam here” option to report false positives.
2. Make this function accessible via CarPlay for real-time correction.
3. Improve the traffic data verification to reduce incorrect jam reports.
4. Consider the impact on road safety, especially when drivers react to phantom traffic reports at high speeds. This feature would improve Waze’s accuracy, trustworthiness, and safety — especially for users relying on real-time data during long drives.
Thank you for considering this improvement!

Big flaw in Waze model. When Traffic clears they have no idea because they send all Wazers on alternate routs

Reporting traffic involves light, heavy and standstill. Sometimes waze reports that there is heavy traffic but in truth there is none at all. Make an option to report that there is no traffic.

Because I had different situations that I chose routes that had less traffic erroneously because Waze was not updated with the route of traffic information I have chosen. This lack of upgrade was due to lack of mobile signal coverage. But this should be flagged for mistakes in deciding to use a route with less traffic.
