Waze has always worked perfectly well in split screen despite not being built for it, but since v4 the incident menu displays slightly too much to the left, blocking the 'traffic jam & 'police' buttons. It scrolls across for all the others just as it has always done but since v4 it's as if the center is set differently & this is the only thing messing the app up in split screen!

My Note 8 (and others) can show two apps on screen at the same time, but Waze won't refresh the screen when it's not the active one. Other apps can do this (youtube for example)

Just wondering...
How hard would it be to make the app be able to do split screen? (Samsung S7 Edge)
Also, just a suggestion, but it would be nice if in the pull down menu (where you have the "Switch Off" option), it would be a nice feature to have the eta on the left across from "Switch Off".
Great app tho, use it 5 days a week for 3,000+ miles!

Split screen is really usefull for so many things. This should have been availlable a long time ago.
I understand your concern about safety, but We should be taking that decision. -

Waze is cool, but kinda useless on larger landscape monitors (like those found in cars nowadays). The landscape format doesn't give you much more info, it only shows more of the area to the side of the roads wich is kinda useless. So having something like Spotify controls next to it makes much more sense.
Google Maps can do this, so should Waze. -

The telephone on my iPhone grabs the whole screen when I am driving, and when I am in wilderness areas such as downtown St. Paul and do not know my way around, this is a big problem. On televisions, we can have small windows of other channels. Along those lines, a simplified and reduced telephone window would be very helpful and I could still see where my next turn will be. If you think I should not talk while driving, please keep in mind that many people are on hold for long periods of time. I would rather listen to my own iTunes or CD in the car while on hold.
