[HAZARD REPORTING] Create a new drop-down self-populating list aka "Favourites" list of previously / recently / regularly typed hazards
If we are honest, I would expect a lot of Wazers don't pull over to post a hazard warning and like me, are prone to do it whilst driving.
I love the idea of being able to post a hazard warning when I encounter something that might benefit another Waze user, and this is where my idea comes in; in general terms everyone understands what a hazard is, and how unique they can be... if every suggested new hazard category option request posted here was implemented, you'd have a huge, unwieldy, and basically impractical list of choices to try and view, sort, and choose from.
A good example of that is this request; https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59223-waze-suggestion-box/suggestions/2549196-new-report-options which requests nine new hazard options alone. All good and valid hazards, but you can see my point.
My suggestion is to allow for a "list" to be created of recently used / typed hazards and that can be easily accessed for use again, on a personal "user" basis. This could be accessed from "Reports" / "Hazard" / and displayed at this root level, or within a sub "Favourites" / "Recently Used" option.
Moreover, in the same way that Waze 4.0 now displays some user favourite locations within the main menu (after tapping the Waze icon), these could be added to that menu in some way, perhaps based on usage, date added, top three, top five, whatever. I see this main menu becoming something like the Blackberry OS10 "hub", in that it could contain more quick ways to access your most-frequently used "things" in Waze.
Having the ability to retain previously typed hazards makes it safer and easier to report similar occurrences whilst driving, as you only risk typing the once, and would even allow Waze users the ability to make their own personalised list of hazards, safely and prior to setting off if they expect to encounter one or more and without creating a huge and diverse list that every single user sees and has to navigate.
