Is it possible to add more categories for advertisers? We need an "outdoor adventure"
More categories for advertisers! I like that an ad is affordable for my small business but I need a better category. I think an "Outdoor Adventure" catagory would be very successful. I also think drivers should be able to search and opt out of ads by category would be great. As an advertiser, I would like to be found but have no interest in ticking off people!

If you have no interest in ticking off people, you shouldn't be advertising on Waze. I actively avoid any business that I see an ad for on Waze, since the ads are incredibly distracting and there's no way to get rid of them, even by paying. It's mostly large chains that I see, and I know there's nothing I can do to change their behavior, but if I ever do see an ad for a local small business, I'll probably actually click on the thing, drive there, and tell the business owner why they should stop advertising via Waze and instead choose a platform that actually respects its users. I'll spend as long as I can delivering this explanation, then leave without buying anything. Maybe that will give them an idea of how I feel having my time wasted every day by Waze's incessant ads.
