Risk classification system by areas:

Some countries like mine (Peru) have several areas which are either dangerous or ugly to go through. Since Waze algorithm is set to always find the best route regarding the traffic and shortest ways to minimze the time, sometimes it includes these kind of undesireble zones and and it can be really annoying or even scary.

Therefore, I suggest to implement a security location system based on the split and categorization of how safe or risky is each area.

At first, it's going to be necessary to make an initial investigation about the safety of each zone and assign a default risk value for each of them, for instance: from 1 to 5 (Where: 1=Lowest Risk, 5=Highest Risk).

Then, once the system is running on the application, users can start qualifying and suggesting different values for each zone based on their own opinion and experience. This way the system will receive feedback and the risk value database can be updated with the most voted value, improving the system accuracy and reliability.

Finally, a risk option should be added to the users settings, so that they can choose up to what risk level they are willing to take.

By implementing this system I strongly believe that the comfort of the users will be improved, specially on countries where there are several zones that most users will like to avoid.
