This idea was first proposed in 2016 by Eric Lynema.
When will you announce support for What3words?
Now that you are part of Google, are you trying to force everyone to use Google Maps. Waze is so much better, and I much prefer it to Maps.
What3words is used for Location; Waze is used for Navigation. There is no obvious conflict and combined the two apps could make a wonderful combination.

What3words is very, very accurate and is rapidly gaining acceptance and wide use.

Guess this will be a no go. As if waze was staying ahead of the curve this would have been done by now!

It's over three years since this feature was requested. In the meantime, the BBC has discussed the UK's services request to use What3Words, and Mongolia's postal system has officially adopted it. Please do this.

Zusätzlich das Ziel über das 3 Wort System eingeben.
Das ist so was ähnliches wie GPS Daten nur einfach mit 3 Wörtern.
Einfach und schnell. -

Agreed. UK emergency services now use what3word addresses, come on Waze, stay ahead of the curve....

I support this idea. Ford just added support for this as well. Since I use Android Auto and Waze exclusively. I would love this functionality built into Waze and not have to use the W3W app to find a location then direct that to Waze. Hard to use in a car.

It should be possible to save a W3W address as a Favourite in Waze, but I have not found a way of doing it!
I can go to W3W and find the exact location where I want to be then use Waze to go there - but unable to save that location as a Favourite in Waze! Bizarre! -

This is a duplicate of the What3words idea, please vote over there.

I was dropped off 10 blocks from my hotel the other day due to a vague address used by them. We need something as accurate as GPS coordinates but as easy to remember as street addresses to indicate location. What3words is the answer.

Please integrate "What Three Words" Location finder app into your software. With this you will have a faultless Navigation device.
