Alerts based on Route
Since Waze has the ability to track your trips I came up with this.
Lets say you drive to work everyday. You know their are 5 Speed Cameras, 4 Construction Zones and 6 Potholes. Waze should automatically disable it's alerts if you are familiar with the Route.
Lets say it disables it when Waze knows you have been on the same Route for at least a week.
Now if for example later on in the future there is a new Construction, or SpeedCamera installed on the same route it alerts you since it's new.
This would eliminate the need to be annoyed with the same alerts every day going to Work.

enable a regular route feature, and an alert if there is a change to it. user can configure the varying degree of change it wants to be alerted on (accident, road closure, heavy traffic, light traffic, etc), and when (immediately or 30mins before certain time).

sharing this idea of having an option to disable the "proceed to highlighted route" alert.
As an uber driver, I am using local knowledge to move around traffic and would like the option to silence the "proceed to highlighted route" alert.
Additionally there are times on a highway that waze thinks im on surface streets and constantly alerts me to "proceed to highlighted route" alert.
I don't mind the "proceed to highlighted route" alert but its the overly loud sound that is disrupting to everyone in the car.

Interesting idea. This helps to decongest the application. While there are fewer visual elements, there will be greater processing speed.

Mute navigation alerts only (Turn left, right, Streetnames, etc)
After driving "exactly" the same road 3 times in a row but keep all the other alerts.
