Voice Search shouldn't require so many taps to work.
The best driving apps are ones that you don't have to touch very often since that takes concentration away from the road. Waze lets you search via tapping the Microphone button but then still requires multiple taps to complete the request.
Current steps:
1) TAP magnifying glass
2) TAP microphone
3) Say name of place to go
4) Look at the screen to see the list of possible suggestions
5a) TAP the location you want if shown, or
5b) TAP the Search button for more results and then TAP the location you want
6) TAP the Go button
7) TAP the Go Now button (or wait for the timer to expire)
As you can see, this requires between 4 and 6 Taps to start navigation
When I do a voice search, I almost always have the correct location as the first entry when I search with enough information (e.g. "Papa Johns North Avenue" instead of just "Papa Johns")
I'd like to suggest an enhancement (could be toggleable in options) that would remove some of the requires Taps and give Waze more automation..
I'd like to see it work as:
1) TAP magnifying glass
2) TAP microphone
3) Say name of place to go
4) Waze will search and automatically choose the first result as the location to go to
5) TAP the Go button (put a short timer on this step so I don't have to tap anything)
5a) I could tap Cancel/Back/whatever if it happened to find the wrong location and then I can use the normal steps up above
6) TAP the Go Now button (or wait for the timer to expire)
This reduces the number of times I have to interact with the phone to just the initial two Taps to bring up the voice search box. After that, Waze goes by itself. This would allow users to pay more attention to the road quicker without having to keep telling Waze what to do.
Thanks

Façam o app reconhecer a voz do condutor e carona. #UX

When using the voice search function, there needs to be another button to hit "enter" and make it search. Currently, when I say an address (which I do often, because I don't want to type while driving), the address goes into the search bar, but nothing happens. I still need to click on the search the bar, then click enter, which completely defeats the purpose of voice searching, as I have to take my eyes off the road and find which buttons to hit. It also takes more time, is more cumbersome, and makes me less likely to use the app. Have it either automatically search after saying the destination, or put a large "go" button on the screen after I say the destination. This seems like a glaring error that could be easily fixed.
