While following a route, a street may be temporarily closed due to a recent collision or construction. For example, a section of freeway may be closed, or an event or a protest may be blocking the road.

There should be an easy way to tell Waze that the road is closed and that you should be routed around it. Currently, if you miss a turn because the road is closed, Waze will continually try to put you back on that closed section of road.

Being able to report to Waze you simply CAN'T get on the road would cause Waze to recalculate the route to avoid that turn.

We need a button to report road closures. Once you report a road closure it should then track you on the detour until your back onto the proper road to get an accurate route and eta until another user finds that the road is open again.

Scheduled closures can be done through the map editor online.

On my way to work there is a road that closes every morning due to heavy traffic. I still get all routes through that area. I would like an option to avoid a special road or to be re-routed to another road when road is reported closed.

You could add a new feature to allow drivers to cut a road instantly if they realize it's cutted because of works or a delivery van is stopped in the midle of the road...
