earlier police alerts
Police alerts need to be earlier. Getting an alert right as you reach them does not provide much value. Perhaps 1/2 mile ahead.

I agree with you, even if you are going with 60 should be sooner, but if you are going with 160 it's already too late. it should be customizable or dynamic by speed.

.3 of a mile is pointless. You’re on top of them before you can react. A full mile would be much easier. Or some choice of options so the driver can select their own value.

Definitely need police notifications earlier. Almost pointless for mobile camera vans in Uk as their range is much more than the current warning time/distance.
