Live updating, real-time petrol prices
In New South Wales, Australia, we have a government run website called http://fuelcheck.nsw.gov.au that has real-time, live updating petrol prices from all petrol stations. This is a much more accurate source of information than user updated petrol prices that can sometimes be weeks out of date.
I'm sure Waze could access some sort of API to pass this info on to users.

this is also available in the uk via a restapi ( https://www.developer.fuel-finder.service.gov.uk/fuel-finder/access-latest-fuelprices ). this could be incorporated for those driving past or parked at a petrol station to verify a price and it is important to show a date and time stamp of the last updated price
