The "Pause Audio" toggle doesn't work correctly for me. When toggled on, Waze continues to talk over the lowered audio app which causes me to miss a part. It's not safe (or legal) to switch over to the audio app, rewind, and replay it while driving. I usually listen to offline content with critical details so I cannot just infer from context content that was missed.

So incredibly annoying. This is the one thing that keeps me thinking about trying other apps. When I'm listening to an audiobook and my exit comes up with an incredibly long name it's super frustrating.

This is the biggest issue I have with Waze. I listen to a LOT of podcasts, and I am constantly having to scroll back 15 seconds because Waze "talks over" what I'm listening to. The only solution I've found it so mute everything, but then I have to look at my phone constantly for turns, which can be dangerous. And then I also miss all of the safety alerts, which reduces my safety. PLEASE fix, this would be a huge annoyance fix for audiobook and podcast listeners.

This is almost a bug in my opinion. EVERY other app I have that interjects audio announcements pauses the currently playing audio. There are lots of people using audio playback for podcasts, books on tape, audio lessons, etc. Waze is frequently talking over what I want to hear without pausing it and miss information. And Waze has such frequent interruptions that it is essentially useless to me without this feature. I tried setting the audio in Waze so that it uses the iPhone speakers instead of my headphones ... yet it STILL turns down the audio playing in my headphones even though I don't hear the Waze audio in them. Very frustrating. I just plain can't use this app until this is fixed.

Yes! Please add this feature. I've also found that if I pause the audiobook to avoid missing words due to to the voice prompts, the voice prompts themselves disappear when I approach the next turn.

Navigon on the iPhone supports this. This is a key feature!
