Routing server timeouts - retry in the background
Sometimes everyone of us experiences routing server timeouts with an Oops/OK prompt. Then one needs to reclick the destination while driving, which is disturbing. Perhaps the client could have an option to retry a couple of times in the background, and then notify if all retries failed?

Sometimes, when I enter a destination before driving, Waze fails to plan the route because of weak signal or switching between home Wi-Fi and mobile data.
When this happens, I only see an error, and there’s no easy way to retry — especially hard while driving in Android Auto.
Please add a “Retry” button on the error screen that tries again using the same destination.
✅ Safer (fewer taps while driving)
✅ Faster recovery after short connection issues
✅ Simple and useful for all drivers -

Google is top of the food chain and they can't handle something this simple? Is their goal to drive us back to Google Maps? Pathetic.

This problem is getting worse. Google should have fixed the routing server error problem a long time ago. Give the program back to the Israelis. They can keep it running.

All the time, especially when changing from wifi to LTE (on iPhone, MPTCP should just work) or from crappy OBD2 Wifi AP to LTE. 6, 7 times retrying to get a connection.

I get this all the time and need to retry while driving. Didn't happen before Google bought Waze

I love Waze, but it is very frustrating getting the routing server error. It will give me a route every time, but if I click the "routes" tab, many times I get the error

Sometimes waze lost the road. The map can be old, f.e.
If the area has no internet connection, the navigation stops.
I want waze not to stop navigation if it is'n possible to recalculate it, but wait, perhaps i will return to the road.
