Heads up Display (HUD)

make an heads up display icon so that the user can place it on their dash and the reflection will show up on the windshield.. for night time driving whee it is safer to stare closer to the road versus looking down...other apps use this idea but they dont have the GPS ability..it will set waze apart from all other GPS systems..and make it look extra cool!

    Please add HUD mode
    Waze is the best app I have used and HUD mode would make it even better and safer to use . Thanks.

    Waze is good app.
    To improve it to perfect you need to add HUD view to it.
    Please do, before somebody will do it before you.

    I would love to get a HUD mode. It should be pretty easy to mirror everything on the x axis

    There are holders to place on the dash with a small reflective see through display that waze could utilize. They are inexpensive (less than $10), Some use sticky others weight and conform to the dash in front of the driver. Shouldn't be difficult to add option as other Nav systems like Sygic have it.

    This would be great. There are a number of "HUD" screens available, such as https://hudwaycast.com. Waze can do screen mirroring to them, but it would be great to be able to put the display into "HUD Mode" with high contrast with a black background. And for units that simply reflect the phone's display, it would be nice for Waze to be able to mirror its display so that it appears correctly when reflected by the HUD screen to the driver.

    Some things are just made to go together. Peanut butter and chocolate. Cheeseburgers and French fries. Waze is by far the best way to navigate around town. A head up display is by far the best way to view turn-by-turn directions. Why do drivers still have to choose one or the other?
    Are you working with car manufacturers or Android Auto to finally bring it all together?
