Heads up Display (HUD)

make an heads up display icon so that the user can place it on their dash and the reflection will show up on the windshield.. for night time driving whee it is safer to stare closer to the road versus looking down...other apps use this idea but they dont have the GPS ability..it will set waze apart from all other GPS systems..and make it look extra cool!

    HUD retailers that use reflective glass are advertising other services (BECAUSE Waze does not offer this!) I would really like for Waze to get on board with this. And apparently with 3044 votes, I'm not the only one.

    Heads up display mode option would make your waze app just awesome and much safer to use in a vehicle. HUD will set up to reflect off the front glass and you would not have to take your eyes off the road. Your guidance app is already one of the best out there, this will put it over the top.

    From what I understand, the Waze image just needs to be reversed to work with the Hudway Glass heads up display device.

    Head Up Display and Voice Command would make WAZE as the best navigation app ever. so drivers can keep focus on road without distracting by tapping buttons etc.

    I recently received and extremely easily installed a HUD from Navdy which I partook in a successful crowdfunding campaign. The unit is far better than I had hoped for and you can add apps from your iPhone / smartphone. Waze however is not available to activate as an app. This is hugley disappointing as the standard is google maps and havi g used Waze for many years, it's a nightmare to have to "downgrade". Creating a Navdy compatible app would put all other navigation systems out of play. Please consider and let us know if this is being worked on, will be considered seriously and if so, when this may become available.

    Make WAZE compatible with Headway Glass and Drive. No matter how great WAZE is, you are risking obsolescence if you don't evolve with and are complementary with new driver assistance tech.

    Bought the HUDWAY unit. Very disappointed Waze will not work on it. Any effort or plan for Waze to be compatible with HUD? I prefer to use Waze.
