Heads up Display (HUD)

make an heads up display icon so that the user can place it on their dash and the reflection will show up on the windshield.. for night time driving whee it is safer to stare closer to the road versus looking down...other apps use this idea but they dont have the GPS ability..it will set waze apart from all other GPS systems..and make it look extra cool!

    A HUD function would be the next step to allow Waze to continue to be the best mobile navigation app in the market.

    I would very much like a HUD for Waze for my iPhone. I keep looking down and taking my eyes off the road. HUD would be safer!

    I just saw a HUD display for $50 on DIGG, I'm sure a Waze HUD app would be better than the existing HUD apps.

    Hudway is awesome, but I waze is my nav of choice. Please add a HUD mode.

    Hi all.
    I use your application day by day for a long time ago. Very useful, especially in hard driving town, but not only.
    Today I read something about HUD and find on Android market apps more then one HUD driving application (no offence for their application - but is more then limited). Waze application allready have night mode schema, she need only a mirroring function :) from the begining.
    Do you think it is possible to implement some HUD attribute. Instead to view the map to view something like in this Android application: Car HUD Display from Hovik Aghajanyan programmer.
    I think will be a good start and useful function, specially in hard driving condition like smog, fog or night driving condition, etc.

    One can buy for few bucks a device that turns a smartphone into a HUD… what is just needed is a HUD mode in Waze !
