Heads up Display (HUD)

make an heads up display icon so that the user can place it on their dash and the reflection will show up on the windshield.. for night time driving whee it is safer to stare closer to the road versus looking down...other apps use this idea but they dont have the GPS ability..it will set waze apart from all other GPS systems..and make it look extra cool!

    I wouldn't think that you'd even have to change the underlying code to start with, just mirror the screen and have done with it.
    That would be better then what we have at the moment.

    Very important feature. A pity if I have to Switch WAZE for another application because I waze is the best nav. app. around/

    AGREED, HUD mode is a plus. Why is waze missing this????? just found an android app that has it hudway go. But i really want it on waze.

    Absolutely needs to be able to work with vizr!
    Vizr makes using any navigation app safer.

    Now that small HUD devices have become inexpensive and readily available, it would benefit WAZE to develop a HUD option to gain new users and retain current users.

    Waze is the best but it would be really nice if it worked with HUD. I would really like to get a HUD display but I won't until Waze supports it.

    To stay the top navigation app Waze must adopt HUD technology - stay ahead of the pack where you belong.

    Waze is my ‘go-to’ app for navigation. Notifications play through my car stereo but turn by turn is only on the IPhone. A HUD option would be a positive asset to the app.

    This would be great, as there are many affordable HUD devices for Smart Phones and this would be great.

    Please add a HUD mode to the app! other apps have it but lack the navigation you guys have.

    This should be a basic option to add or even be able to switch to when the app goes from day to night mode. Just a thought.

    Please add Heads Up Display as an option. Use it if you like it, don't use it if you don't like it. Consumers like options. Usage will increase which means more users see your adds which means more revenue. Do it before someone else does and your users move on.

    Seria um recurso interessantíssimo que deixaria o Waze ainda mais completo e atrairia uma gama enorme daqueles que estão migrando p outros aplicativos que já possuem o recurso!!!
