Add official state run Rest Areas along major highways to the map.

If i turn on waze then google maps, will my waze run in the backround?

Agree want to know in route when to stop and stretch use facilities.

It would be interesting to see on display next 2 Point of Interest (POI) to be selected with time & distance
Exemple on highway to see on screen next 2 gas station A 4min/8km and B 18min/36km
POI outdoor be selected within a list, and display is optional

I feel like you need to have the option to enable showing rest stops on your trip, not having to search them but showing them automatically.

Please add rest stops and tell the distance to the ones on the route!

REST STOP on and off button and lack of feedback from Waze team updating us on status! Update us, please! So many repeat posts from users, nothing from Waze. Waste of time?

First post in 2012 for REST STOPS and still nothing??? This seems like it is overstating the obvious! A turn on/off would be ideal for when it is needed. Waze, what the heck is keeping you from adding ? Can you actually reach out to your users and update us?

Add up the votes for rest stops. People want and need this.

I can't believe Waze doesn't have this feature. Either mark them on the map or, even better, categorize them so they can be turned off/on like other notifications.

Have a setting to choose to announce rest area from either 5, 10, or 20 miles away.
