A way to delete my own report.
My idea is... A way to delete my own "report". I placed a report by mistake and wanted to take it off but couldn't!

This issue arises because of another glaring issue. The fact that you can't get safely parked and then pinpoint a location to make a report is beyond understanding. Then the only way to find this out is to place a false report, which is not deletable. It makes me wonder why this app is popular, to be honest.

The whole non delete issue needs to be resolved, the fact it exists is beyond dumb. And not being able to choose an area to pinpoint the report location is dumber, no safe driver will automatically drop a point accurately or try to do so driving. The whole issue defeats the purpose of using the app

Like all of the rest I'm new to the app and wanted to see how creating an accident report worked thinking I could delete it. This is STUPID! Makes you wonder how many reports are real or a mistake!!
So I thought I could make a comment saying its a mistake but it said I'm a baby wazer and can't. Oh well I can delete the app!! -

you cannot make a report when driving, and when you do make a report, it will place it at the current GPS, and you cannot change it. I now have a starbucks, a sunoco, and a police report all at my house. Thanks WAZE! you suck!

Yeah, I just wanted to test it and then delete a police report, but couldn't.

Ditto. I just reported a police but made the mistake of thinking my report would submit where I dropped the pin, not where I currently am. So the report is completely pointless.
Really wish there was a way to delete it, as well as a way to drop a pin or pan back by a few minutes to make a report. Because I'm certainly not going to be using my phone as I knowingly pass a cop.

Is someone from Waze actually going to answer any of these questions? No way to delete, really? You definitely shouldn't have to be in the spot of the incident to report it, no one is going report while driving. This puts a serious lack of confidence in the information provided in the app.

Same here. Wanted to report a check point but not going to do it as I'm driving by it. I tried to "report" it and it put it at the location I'm at not where its at.

Ugh. Yes. I have to be in the location to report it?? What kind of bs is that? What if I'm driving??

I'd like to be able to remove /delete an incident that I mark if I have marked it by mistake.

Strongly agree!
Not being able to remove your own report is ridiculousAlso;
Should be able to report location of hazard etc once stopped -

Totally agree, delete function is necessary! And to report an incedent at any point on a map, not just your current location

Not happy. I thought I'd add a Starbucks I pass on my daily commute, but I waited until I got home. Now my block has a Starbucks on it and no way to remove it.

Waze is totally useless. I wanted to move a pin. But won't allow, I also can't delete!!! Stupid

Sorry, but I won't be posting, or believing, any Waze report until a 'delete my report' facility is added. I just tried to report an issue that I came across a mile from my home when I got home, assuming that it would ask me where the incident was...... Wrong - it placed it offside my home!!
So, two issues here; 1) I need to be able to delete my own report posted in error, and 2) I should be able to report issues after I have arrived at my destination... I invariably wouldn't be in a position to stop at the scene, for example on a motorway, logically nor legally!!

Delete function is a necessity!

Same here. I reported one that was accurate and another by accident thinking it was the original one... no way to delete.

I asked Waze audio about an accident near me and it interpreted this as a report of a major accident at my location with no ability to confirm this as correct or delete! There should be a confirmation query before filing the report!!!! There should be an ability for a Wazer who is the reporting party to delete a report!
