A way to delete my own report.
My idea is... A way to delete my own "report". I placed a report by mistake and wanted to take it off but couldn't!

What about responding to the same complain from your users about not being able to delete users' own reports?

Today I noted 7 items posted that were gone or otherwise resolved when I passed the location. In that case we should be able to modify the report as resolved or remove it from the map.

Say you place a "police in road" report at your own house, you should have the option to delete it.

how long does a waze report stay active?

How about being able to select WHERE the thing is, and not where you are standing.
The idea with Waze is to help you concentrate on your driving; but currently you must press a lot of buttons WHILE driving!! -

I think your posts answered my question. New to Waze and last night passed an area where it showed police but they were no longer there--was trying to figure out how to report that.

I agree with everyone else i tried to report a road closure due to an accident, but did it when i got home so it looks like its at my house and not where it is. So you should be able to delete your own reports,i understand why you cant delete someone elses report, but when you make a mistake like me the user should be able to delete it

It often happens that i see reports of something that is like 2 years old or a few months, and i think that is verry irrelevant. So i would like to se a option to like not showing reprts/hazard older than like a few hours, 1 day a like a week.

this is ridiculous. How is there not a pin drop for later ability? or a way to take off your report when you realize it placed it in your driveway...? How can the ratings be so high when you don't have this basic functionality?

I'm guessing some of these issues came with an updated version. I recall the old version you could report whether something was no longer there or not, like vehicle on shoulder, police, etc Very frustrated with this app. Crap pops up that I have no idea what it is. I'm thinking someone was smoking spice when they collaborated this version. Also, they should collaborate with restaurants to give wazers discounts on food, etc. after earning so many points.

Re. Reporting while driving: Doesn't Waze say this has been fixed? However one must still hit the "Repor"t button, and then you can edit the report later. Is this feature working?

SAME ISSUE! Cannot delete an erroneous report, cannot mark a spot (like closures/construction) at a later date, and even marking construction/closures is arduous, half the time the arrows don't go where you want them to-let alone move when tapped. And heaven forbid you need to mark multiple locations for construction/closure/police etc. You should be able to mark a spot on the map (similar to a bookmark) then be able to go back and edit it later WHEN NOT DRIVING.

Wazers adding too many fake cameras or on the roads there is already cameras but they are adding again so when the cameras approved fake from the map editors remove them from the map its not good if all the way fake cameras.....

I have deleted the app because it is not good enough that you A) Cannot remove police alerts etc if you put them in incorrectly; and B) it won't allow you to place them correctly because you have to actually be where the police are when you place the warning. You cannot place them once you arrive home because you end up with police on your house. We aren't able to input while driving in Australia and there is often no place to pull over, so this isn't good enough. Apparently the developers have known about this since 2012. Sorry guys.
