Disable pop ups or get a traffic ticket
Washington State recently updated its cell phone law. The new bill forbids handheld uses, including composing or reading any kind of message, picture or data. WAZE continually has Wi-Fi pop-ups for which I must touch the screen to hide the pop up (mind you I’m also on my Vespa and wearing gloves, trying to use a touch screen that barely registers a glove). I’m pushing hard on my screen between 10-12 times while driving to turn off the Wi-Fi notifications on my 24 mile one way trip to/from work. I can now get ticketed for this!! I do not want to get a $136 traffic ticket! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, for road safety and our state anti-distraction law/traffic ticket reasons, allow us to disable the Wi-Fi pop ups! I’d gladly pay a reasonable monthly fee to have this feature implemented ASAP. I would much prefer this app to be a help and not a hindrance for safety reasons, and I’m sure I’m not alone in this suggestion.

I did not have ads pop up and Waze the past year until recently, and it almost made me wreck the car, and I did get pulled over by a police officer cuz he saw the phone in my hand we also have that law here in Delaware, so unfortunately I am no longer using Waze. It's a damn shame because I really do like the app that helps me avoid the numerous traffic jams but I cannot risk getting into an accident having to pick up the stupid phone to get rid of a freaking pop-up that's blocking my route, I've also missed numerous turns while driving which cost me 10-15 minutes until I got to the next turn around to go back and go that way I should have in the first place but missed because of a stupid pop-up. This is ridiculous why create an app that is beneficial if you're going to screw it up with the pop ups and lose your followers?

There is nothing more annoying than to be driving down a road and having your iPhone pop-up with a list of nearby WiFi routers you can connect to. Worse, the pop-up doesn't go away until you hit cancel. I'm not asking you to turn off WiFi, as I know it helps pinpoint GPS better, but can you at least turn off this pop-up?
