When someone reports an accident, give them the option to tag or directly contact their insurance company.

This is an interesting idea: using Waze to report accidents and link to the insurance company directly. I totally get the appeal — when I had a minor fender-bender, I ended up dialing the Availity customer service number https://availity.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html through my insurer and it felt like so much extra friction. So if Waze let you tap “report accident → call my insurer / tag my policy,” it could speed things up. Real life doesn’t always follow our ideal flow, but this kind of feature could make reporting smoother after the dust settles.
