speed cameras
The alert about speed cameras warns about cameras that are positioned on the same direction the car drives, which is counterproductive. It should warn about cameras that are placed on the opposite direction, because these cameras are the ones that are relevant , they take the picture.

In the UK, older cameras photograph the REAR number plate.
But some new cameras photograph the FRONT number plate - and the driver.
The camera CAN be on the opposite side of the road - depends on the model.
One camera CAN work in BOTH directions - depends on the model.
Newer cameras can cover BOTH red lights AND speed if light is green.
The idea of a Klaxon sound or something similar is a good one. -

Currently, alerts are displayed for e.g. speed cameras that are on the route of travel but only operate in the opposite direction. Removing these from being displayed and only displaying cameras that operate in the direction of travel would help avoid confusion.

This suggestion makes no sense. It’s the camera facing in your direction of travel that takes the photo, at least in the United States.

When coming up to an intersection with a fixed speed camera, i find it only alerts you from one direction which is where the camera is actually located but it can catch you speeding from all directions. It would be good to be alerted from all roads in the intersection

Can you please add an option so that Speed cameras are only shown if located on the right side of the road. Speed cams on the other side have no point ! It is disturbing to see you are approaching it and then, it turns out it is on the other side.
