Level of guidance option
I would like a new low setting for "level of guidance" under sound settings. I wish I could set it to a two stage tone notifications. Such as one ding x amount of feet before the turn and then a double ding immediately before the turn.
I find that the verbal instructions can be more than necessary in more familiar areas.

I like this idea but would also like to have a higher level of more information. For instance, I would like to hear "you have exceeded the speed limit" instead of just a ding. I can't tell what some of the dings refer to. It can be a learning to use Waze mode where it dings a melody and says what the ding means. Later when you understand the various ding melodies, you can change the setting to expert mode (or low setting).

alert tones will be helpful due to background noises and radio etc and allow more attention to the road ahead

I would suggest eliminating the 500 feet warning, seems unnecessary since Waze reports the street/highway name being turned onto
