I was just denied participation in the SDK program for integrating Waze into the NEXAR dash cam app on my iPhone. I'm disgruntled that was the decision, especially without any explanation as to why. I use Waze a lot when traveling, even to work (I live in the DC metro area). I'm currently using the NEXAR app as a dash cam, but sadly can't use it in conjunction with Waze, at least not that I have found online. So, NEXAR has lost a potential dash cam customer as a result. I'm not going to buy a dash cam until I have some idea of how well it integrates with Waze. Plus, given the advanced technology in smart phones, I'm dubious about spending money on a dash cam when the tech exists to just use my phone plus it eliminates clutter on my windshield. But, now I have to choose between using the Waze App or the Nexar App. Even when I check for reviews on dash cams, I don't ever seem to see any review or comparison of Nexar with other dash cams. Sorry Nexar, I guess I'll be looking at other mobile apps as opposed to yours.
