I use the iPhone but my idea is for all. The report button in the bottom right corner should be changed to a "Mark position button". Safety!
I use the iPhone but my idea is for all. The report button in the bottom right corner should be changed to a "Mark position button". This will let you mark the position at the moment needed and then identify the hazard or type of report when it is safe to do so after the fact. I always feel like I'm rushed and distracted trying to get the position marked and identified in time.

Simply let us touch the map where the report needs to go! Problem solved!
The gps-location-reporting is total bulls***! If I really wanted to abuse waze I could simply feed my phone's OS false gps data and put hundreds of fake reports; simple enough to do on a rooted or JB phone. Saying the current faulty system is to "prevent abuse" is total idiotic nonsense!
Let people report to a precise location to within a mile radius of their location.
Until we can do this waze is essentially useless unless you don't care about a cop's location to +/- a half mile, or are driving in the country where there is only one possible road you could be on at any time.

I was entering this suggestion and yours popped up. This is a GREAT Idea. I also find myself not accurately reporting or not reporting at all because I did not have time to report due to traffic conditions. In some cases there was a On-Road Hazard, such as a large truck tire tread, that went unreported. This is probably one of the most important safety issues that has been suggested. I just wish it was higher in the list. I started to enter it because I could not find your suggestion.
