Add a brightness control to compensate in app for night driving and sunny days
At night I find my phone screen is to bright to have running, I alter this using the brightness in phone settings but this is a long winded excessive, would be better to have an in app slider or on screen button to control brightness or a 3 finger drag say up and down the screen would be amazing. This would work in the opposite during sunny days when a greater backlight is required.

I use WAZE on my motorbike as well and because of lighting flare during the daytime I can often NOT SEE the screen !

It would be great to have an option to reduce brightness automatically when night mode is enabled.
