Currently users get and report “improper navigation” because waze has snapped the user to an a segment that the driver is not actually on. Using the rawgps mode users can easily see where they are and what segment the app thinks the user is on.
By making this segment more widely known and available more users will be aware when waze has snapped them onto an incorrect segment and will be able to identify the cause of incorrect navigation instructions, and maybe solve the problem themself. Knowing is half the battle, and this is an easy way for waze to help users be more informed.
