Constant alarm when you go over the speed limit with thresholds
Most speeding limit cameras are set to issue a ticket for going greater than 10mph over the limit. I'd like an alarm that goes off and continues to go off for as long as you are X mph over the speed limit AND where you can adjust X to whatever threshold limit you desire.
If the threshold in your state is 10mph over the limit, I would probably make the alarm to go off and stay beeping as long as I'm greater than 8 mph over the speed limit.
In other states such as VA and KY, a ticket can be issued for being as little as 5mph over the speed limit, so the threshold alarm value X described above could be adjusted to as little as 1 or 2 mph over the limit.
I think the alarm needs to be constant and stay on until you adjust your speed to below the threshold because it's easy to lose track of how fast you're going and to get >10mph over the limit without even realizing it. There are many zones in NYC that are 25mph and getting up to 35mph inadvertently is very easy.
