Slow down & move over warning for Emergeny Responders
Warn motorists of Emergency Responders (police cars, tow trucks, ambulances) with a Slow Down Move Over warning. Lives are being lost at alarming rates and any support of the move over laws are greatly appreciated.

Please implement this into waze, so it can warn others to slow down and move over when approaching emergency responders on the roadways.

Tow trucks need to be included with first responders when it comes to getting vehicles on side of the road. I need my daddy, towing family, and towing friends to come home every night. There is nothing in your life so important it is worth taking the life of another because you couldn't slow down or move over. Remember, you will have to live with killing someone (and possibly prison if your a decent human being and admit your actions)for the rest of your life because you couldn't take time to slow down and move over. If you can't move over, then SLOW WAY WAY WAY DOWN!!!!!

The towing and recovery industry experiences too many roadside fatalities each year – about 15X more than any other industry. This would be a great way to warn motorists of a tow truck emergency zone up ahead and, hopefully, cut into the number of tow operator deaths.

It is the towing industry that keeps our highways open and moving. Working roadside on a busy highway, with cars and semis passing regularly, is extremely dangerous. With the addition of this warning, Waze could help save lives. What a great opportunity for technology to shine! Thank you for your consideration.

This is probably the one thing Waze could do for motorists to help more Towers, Police, DOT, and Fire employees make it home to their loved ones safely. This can educate, notify, and save lives.

Tow truck drivers need to be recognized and Deff warned about. My husband is a operator in Massachusetts, and people are flying at 80 mph past him shaking the vehicles! It’s terrifying, anything to make people wake up is well worth it!!
