I have a dual vision condition that is more common than people realize: "A common eye condition that can cause issues while driving, especially over bridges, is Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD). It involves the eyes struggling to work together, leading to symptoms of dizziness, anxiety, and blurred vision. People who suffer from Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD) and Vertical Heterophoria have problems with dizziness and vertigo while driving or while making swift movements of any kind. This can be uncomfortable and even dangerous to deal with in the long term." ...Because so many people struggle with these vision problems, it would be a lifesaver if we had a way to avoid ALL bridges, no matter the bridge's height. I've driven an hour out of my way to avoid a 5-second bridge before. I would gladly pay for an app that would help me and so many others who are unable to drive over bridges. It would be an absolute godsend if you could offer that!

I want to avoid big bridges, long tunnels & fly overs for my trip to NYC from Atlanta. Anxiety causes me to black out.

Yes please!!!! This is an absolute need, my legs were shaking so bad and it's not like I could pull over, as others here I would go far out of my way just to avoid a bridge

Please add driving preferences to avoid all bridges all of the time.
I am deathly afraid of bridges and as soon as I see one or on one with no way to turn around I immediately go into a panic anxiety attack, racing heart, sweating, body shakes uncontrollable, feeling that I can't stay on the road and I am either going to cross over into another lane or into the guardrail and end up in my car submerged in water with no way out. Heart beats so fast that I feel like I'm having a heart attack, my body gets stiff with fear and teeth grinding that my body believes that it's having a heart attack. I would rather go miles out of my way to avoid bridges than to go over one and possibly not make it to the otherside.
I'm not asking, I'm begging you to please make avoid bridges an option 🙏🏼

SAME. An app that would give a heads up about a major bridge would be priceless. I’d pay for that feature.

Similar to other commenters, I almost passed out going over a high winding overpass. I had to drive 20 mph and blast the A/C to make it through. Pulled over immediately once I cleared it, since I was holding my breath the entire time.

As I've gotten older, I have an EXTREME fear of bridges. I have panic attacks that make me severely dizzy, short of breath, heart rate goes crazy and I almost pass out. We NEEEEEED this feature

I am afraid of heights and avoid any super high overpasses or bridges. Having the actual bridge/overpass height or a high overpass warning that could be toggled off/on, as well as alternate routing around would be very helpful.

In NY, Harlem River Drive closed so Waze sent me to Major Deegan then to Triboro Bridge to get to 71st Street...if I knew the area, I would have taken a free route as opposed to the $8 bridge toll

We were just routed into a fire zone due to calculation on waze-took us way out of the way to "save time" and then we had to turn around because freeway was closed due to a fire! There needs to be a way to automate this-check news cycles/police reports-so ppl are not direct INTO a natural disaster

I recommend a feature to avoid bridges or underpasses in the event of a disaster, primarily earthquakes.
