Copy and paste in the directions search box
When copying an address from the web or from a text message I can’t paste into the directions search box. This would be a nice feature instead trying to remember a new address closing the app then reopen to type it in.

If I select “Search” and get the text entry bar, I can click on it and enter text from my phone. However, on the phone I am not able to paste into the field. So if I’ve copied a restaurant address, for example, I can’t just paste it into the text entry, I have to manually type it in.

Why can’t you copy and paste an address? Either this is an inexcusable flaw, or a purposeful omission…just why?

I find the establishment on my iphone browser, copy the address, but cannot paste it in waze. I have to either remember the address and type or write it down and type it. How ridiculous.

Windows Mobile version does not allow for Paste to the Address Search bar. I usually receive the address via email or attached in a PDF. Without copy and paste I have to write the address down on paper and then type it back into my mobile in the address bar. Time consuming and awkward!
