As a safety feature for Wazers you could add an icon for reporting groups of vandals / mobs attacking divers
Also add a feature for reporting Political Protests that ultimately affect divers, his happens quite frequently n Bogota Colombia for example

Alert when the chosen route goes through a currently dangerous area. (maybe give the option to find new routes surrounding it).

With "dangerous area" I mean an area that has some alert/warnings on events such as:
1. Missiles (could be common in Israel)
2. Floods
3. Storms / hurricane / typhoon
4. Tsunami
5. Earth quake
6. Violent protest
7. etc.

Lots of these could have warnings in advanced. Others could be relevant real-time.

I don't know if there's an available source to collect this data, but if there is, I'm sure Google uses it for search boxes.

Feature to avoid protest and autonomous areas.

We need a hazard button for riots...a flaming skateboard or something. These are dangerous and people need to be aware.

Providence, Boston and Cap Cod all experiencing issues of protesters deliberatly blocking the highways and public streets stopping all foot and auto traffic. In almost all circumstances this happens LATE at night after dark all the while Waze is directing drivers/passengers into direct path of the danger.....Waz should be able to direct users to alternate foot/driving route to avoid this situation.

Have a traffic alert for areas that have rioting. Also show roads that are currently closed or will be closed due to curfews. Having the local curfew time would be great for those travelling through unfamiliar cities. This could be an enormous tool for the safety of users. Getting the local news stations to report on this new tool would be great free advertising and a show of care and love for the general public.

Since there are so many on going protests for the next foreseeable year there should be notification of a protest or spontaneous public event that is closing roads.

For the safety of the demonstrators, and drivers, please allow Waze users to indicate demonstrations ahead. Goal is to have users avoid demonstrations to reduce and or eliminate traffic related injuries due to demonstrations.

Would you consider adding a feature that allows Wazers to notify others when a road gets blocked by protesters? There have been instances of violence against drivers and instances of protesters being run over due to fear of the threat of violence. It would be awesome if we had the option to notify other Wazers of this type of dangerous roadblock. Please consider this for the safety of all.

Some times it doesn't completely block the way but it sure causes slow traffic and danger, and it is wanted to be avoided.
