Navigation start option
I would like to see a feature added to only begin verbal navigation once you have driven a certain distance from your home or work - say 1 to 2 miles or at least the first few turns that get you out of your neighborhood or where you work.

There are a few different ways I can get out of my neighborhood, depending on where I want to go. I'd love to be able to define several starting points, and then waze could just tell me:
- go to freeway xyz southbound (which is 15 min away and 20 instructions)
- go to freeway xyz northbound (which is also 15 min away, but not the same way)
- go to road abc (which is 5 min away, in another direction) -

There is only 2 ways to leave the subdivision. No need to announce the first x number of turns. SO, need option to "ignore the first x number of turns" when leaving or returning to Home.

I really don’t need to hear how to get out of my neighborhood. I want to tell Waze at what point I no longer know my way around. And I’d like to know that I can have Waze running without voice prompts, but still have it alert me if I need to change course (like in a situation when I know where I’m going, but an accident may slow down my normal course).

If I want to see how long it will take me to get home tonight, I have to tell Waze I want to go home, THEN I have to hit the Later button. While I'm about to hit the Later button, Waze will loudly tell me "Take the next right hand turn" or something, when I have no desire to drive right then.
This is particularly annoying at night. I want to see how long it will take tomorrow morning to get to an appointment, so I type in the destination, I'm about to click Later, then it bellows "We're allll set. Let's take route 93" throughout my house, waking my kids.
Figure out some different UI mechanism that either doesn't speak instructions to me at first, or instead lets me do a "later" search without initiating an immediate route right now.
(Sometimes I don't even want to go from where I am! I want to see how long it will take to go from remote location A to remote location B at 8pm tonight, even though right now I'm at location C. It telling me the directions from C to B before I click Later is unhelpful and annoying.
I have no idea what the Android version looks like, I experience this on my iPhone 6+, with the latest version.

Sometimes I want to start talking only from a point further on in my navigation(because I know where to go until that point).

I drive a lot so I know many roads. but also get to go to new places I've never been before.
so most of the times i already know a large part of the way, and I don't need to waze nagging me with instructions in roads and places I already know.
I think it would be a good idea to add a feature that lets me decide from which part of the drive (by using a pin location option or whatever you think is the right way to enable it) so that i'll be able to setup the waze before the drive starts but won't hear from it until i actually need it.
