Include a railroad crossing information on map
Include a railroad crossing information on map will permit drivers to see where a road cross a railroad and the route machine may calculate a delay when a railroad crossing exists.

The alert is very loud and annoying!!! Why can’t it be a verbal warning?

I’m all for this as a feature.
I’m not a huge fan of the way all the Metro-North crossings are currently marked as “Object on road”. I know it’s the closest option available, but it’s misleading, and the only way to see the description is by tapping the screen and reading the description while driving up to the hazard (unsafe).

I work for Metro-North Railroad and we would be willing to add all of our crossings ourselves but there is no option in the map editor.

Yes... Add crossing information via FRA database. This will increase safety by alerting drivers to pay attention to upcoming crossings.

Add the ability to indicate times when the crossing is know to be active . Also, consider modifying recommended routes to avoid railroad crossings known to be active.
