Dear Waze Team,

I would like to suggest a new feature that I believe could be very useful for daily commuters and other regular Waze users.

Waze currently recommends routes based on live traffic and estimated travel time. However, users often discover their own shortcuts or alternative routes that they find more convenient through personal experience.

For example, while travelling from Dubai to Sharjah, I may discover and use a shortcut that works very well for me. The next day, however, Waze may recommend a different route based on current traffic, and I may not remember the exact route I previously used.

I suggest introducing a “Save My Route” feature that would allow users to:

Save the exact route they travelled, including personally discovered shortcuts.
Give the route a custom name, such as “My Dubai–Sharjah Shortcut.”
Reuse the saved route whenever they want.
View the current traffic and estimated travel time for that saved route.
Compare it with Waze’s currently recommended routes.
Most importantly, when a user selects a saved route, Waze should allow them to follow that route rather than automatically replacing it with another route.
This would be especially useful for people who regularly travel the same routes and have discovered shortcuts through their own experience.

Make saving a route easier. I had a very difficult time finding in the app where I can save and name a route.

Allow drivers to save a traveled route as a favorite to recall later. This may not be a Waze calculated route but one the driver navigated himself. Many times calculated routes may be "faster" but not better (stress in traffic, stop and go situations or the need to stay off the beaten path). Recording a path and being able to recall it is paramount in a navigation scenario.

Saving route, with speed tracking (to know speed at each point of route) and another feature to play route faster or slower, after being saved.

No save route option

I'd like the option to put in and save a specific route (favourite), even when it's not the fastest or best route according to Waze, and get updates on the traffic situation on that route.
I take a longer but easier route to work than Waze is suggesting, and I'd like to save that as a favourite.
