I understand that Waze currently hides a user's own active reports from their personal map in order to avoid map clutter and redundant alerts.

However, I believe there should be an option to show our own active reports on the map, without generating another notification or voice alert.

For example:

I report a broken traffic light. Other Waze users can see my report and confirm that it is still there. A few days later, I drive through the same location again.

Because Waze hides my own report from me, I cannot see it on the map and I receive no indication that the report is still active.

This creates a practical problem. I may see traffic building up at that location, but I cannot know whether the broken traffic light I previously reported is still the reason for the traffic, or whether the problem has already been fixed.

The same applies to other reports such as potholes, accidents, road hazards, road closures, etc.

I am not suggesting that Waze should send me the same alert again every time I pass the location.

I am suggesting that Waze should simply display my own currently active reports on the map, perhaps with a different colour or icon, while keeping notifications and voice alerts disabled for the report creator.

This would provide the best of both options:

No duplicate alerts or unnecessary voice notifications.
No additional map clutter for other users.
The user can still see which of their own reports are currently active.
The user can understand whether a previously reported problem may still be affecting traffic.
It would also allow the original reporter to know when a problem has apparently disappeared.

I think this would be a useful improvement to Waze and would make the reporting system more transparent and useful for the people who contribute reports.
