Remove permanent "where to" and "my Waze" fields when phone is horizontal.
I use Waze with my phone in a horizontal/landscape position. All is good if I set a location target and use Waze to guide me to it. But I sometimes I like to see the traffick volume without setting a destination. In this mode, Waze takes up a third of my map display with the "where to" and "my Waze" fields. I should be able to turn those off or they should auto disappear.

Any update on the hiding option of the where to and my waze bar? It auto hides the where to bar on portrait but not on landscape mode. It annoying...

How did You turn on this beta mode?

Please do this. Most of the time I know where I'm going and how to get there. They take up real estate for no reason. This is particularly a pain when phone is in landscape. Just have a button to bring up navigation as an option. Waze is about information on the route. Navigation is important, but shouldn't be there all the time which just makes it harder to provide and use alerts.

I found that if you click on the Beta version the 2 bars are then on only half the screen and its a lot better

More than 2 years flew already and no any waze reaction to users will. I never seen such ignorance from any company yet. So disgraceful! Do we have any alternatives to waze ? If they do not hear us we must leave it!

En mode paysage, les lignes "où va t-on" et "mon waze" prennent beaucoup trop de place à l'écran.
Il serait super de pouvoir les masquer/démasquer à volonté pour une meilleure visibilité de la carte.

Like other navigation software, just have the 'Where to' and 'My Waze' bars Auto hide after 10 secs. Have an option in settings to disable it.

I due banner "il mio waze" e "dove andiamo" occupano troppo schermo, bisognerebbe poterli nascondere.

We all know our destination 99 percent of the time, and whenever we want to know a destination, we can just open the My Waze bar and there it is, the where to bar. Get rid of the annoying where to bar that takes up half of the map on the screen.

I already know where I'm going. I want to know where the police are, or cars stopped on the shoulder, etc. Losing half the screen sucks the big one. Get rid of it.

As others have said, this has become very annoying making it pointless to keep waze up when I'm out for a fun cruise on my motorcycle.

This has completely ruined Waze usage for me when on Motorcycle where the serach BOX and MyWaze now take up 50% of the horizontal screen realestate. Such a foolish product update.

Totally agree. One stage the search bar will hide when the car start moving. Now it doesn't any more. Why is the waze developer keep messing with UI.

totally agree, that address box covers almost the entire screen, it should be hidden
