CarPlay reporting button
The buttons to report “Still There” and “Not There” are stacked vertically in CarPlay, this leads to accidentally pressing the wrong option a significant number of times due to a badly timed bump. If the buttons were next to each other this wouldn’t be an issue.

This is just what is needed as it also creates safety hazard in that a momentary lapse in concentration is required to ensure a steady hand makes the correct selection.

When a “Car stopped” Alert prompts a response in Apple CarPlay, it is often hard to make a selection on a bumpy road due to the options being oriented vertically. It would be beneficial to have the “Still there” option on the driver side of the screen and “Not there” on the passenger side. Having both of these options at the bottom still makes sense, but the issue is more the difficulty making the selection in a travelling car due to the. vertical movement.

This poses as a safety concern due to driver lapse in concentration during prompt selection.

Having both of these options at the bottom still makes sense, but the issue is more surrounding the difficulty making the selection in a travelling car due to the vertical movement of the vehicle i.e A bouncing car requires higher concentration when making a selection if the “Alert” options are orientated vertically, causing momentary lapse in driver concentration.

KS appears to have vertical and horizontal mixed up. On car displays, having the buttons vertically stacked, frequently causes inadvertently incorrect entries as the uneven pavement causes our fingers to bounce up and down. Rarely does that bouncing cause side-to-side movement. Displaying the buttons horizontally would cure the uneven road issues.

The current options to respond to a hazard are "Still There" and "Not There" and they are stacked on top of each other, at least on my Apple CarPlay display. When driving, the road is typically bumpy and vertical control of one's finger tip (for touch screens) is harder than horizontal control. Thus, I suggest that the hazard responses be placed side-by-side instead of stacked. I'm guessing that 1 in 5 of my hazard responses is entered incorrectly as I hit the wrong button when trying to enter hazard responses due to my hand bouncing a bit on bumpy roads.
Also, consider changing the hazard responses to simply "Yes" or "No" or maybe just a green check mark and red X? Specifically, I find responding to the "Missing Road Sign" hazard humorous as "Still There" seems odd for something missing...

Would it be possible to rearrange the "still there/not there" to horizontal instead of vertical. Reason being, roads are not perfectly smooth and when you go to select an option your finger moves up and down with the contour of the road thus possibly selecting the wrong option

As a CarPlay user, I find it difficult to accurately hit the horizontal button confirming if it's "Still there". I propose making the buttons a vertical side by side "Yes" and "No" with the question posed above it "Still there?":
Still there?
--------------------
Yes | No -
