Lower speed threshold setting
All of the speed threshold settings are for at or above the speed limit. By the time the alert goes off I am already breaking the speed limit. It would be nice to set a threshold like 3 or 5 mph below the speed limit to prevent ever going over.

Very good idea!
When the road speed limit is 50 km/h and I drive at 52 km/h, Waze only alerts me after I’ve already exceeded the limit — which is often too late. In Brisbane, speed enforcement is very strict; even going 1 km/h over the limit can result in a $333 fine. Allowing users to set how many kilometers before exceeding the limit Waze should alert them would be extremely helpful for avoiding unintentional speeding.

I agree. There is a delay in GPS speed vs car actually speed, when you got the alert it is late.

I agree. I had to install a blackbox in my car that reports on my driving and it would be nice to set the threshold to 5 or 10km/h BELOW the speed limit.
