Upcoming Speed limit
It would be great if Waze could give a(n optional) warning if a speed limit comes up (similar to construction area warning). This enables the driver to lower the speed before - instead of brake down the speed when the limited zone begins.
This would be very helpful especially on German motorways, which haven’t a general limit and where you have to brake hard e.g. before construction areas.

Fully disagree with that suggestion. As a German I can tell speed signs are normally placed in a manner so you can see and read them before you pass them. That's enough to adjust your speed. Also if you enable speed warnings in Waze and act when they sound you are on safe side.
Use your biological system aka brain to avoid speed tickets and keep waze warnings reserved for real dangers. Also there is already system in place inside waze that informs you about large decreased speed limits (more than 20 km/h i think).

Yea this will be great...at this time we only have this function if we drive for example 100kmh and next limit goes down to 50 then we get an alert but not if there comes a 70 or we go 30 and next is 50...
So I wish we become a system like that one of Saphe T there you always see the next incoming speedlimit and you also see it with distance...
