Waze could easily become a game changer in saving lives, money and drivers license points. Creating a new simple app showing clearly (in big and bright colours) the speed limit worldwhile at GPS position and the car speed and beeping progressively when getting to near the limit. There are so many existing apps doing fancy things but none simply doing that. Isn't it strange ?
Another way to achieve this would be a big counter option: adding a zoom mode to see the waze app counter much bigger, because most people can't see nor hear any change when overpassing speed limit : the red frame is actually too small and there is no sound design for speed limit approach and speeding.
Please make it.

Every vehicle has a speedometer. I know what speed I'm going. That is useless information. Only show the speed LIMIT in a larger size. Google Maps has figured this out.

Please make the speedometer / speed limit sign movable / resizable :)

As a truck driver i use several phones and GPS apps at the same time and waze has one of the most accurate speed limit values, so i want to use it to quickly see the current speed limit.

Letting users customize their own size/layout of data shown could be cool.

I.E for me i would make the speed limit like 40÷ of the screen height. But users will do what they want of course.

On devrait pouvoir agrandir l'icone de vitesse. C'est un très bon aide memoire mais il est très petit et difficile à lire. Alors on doit quitter la route des yeux trop longtemps. J'utilise l'application avec Android auto dans un mazda 3 2015. Merci et l'application est super.

Please stop showing the current speed LIMIT by covering up MY CURRENT speed when I am going over it.. when I look at my speed, I want to see MY CURRENT SPEED, not have it covered up by you flashing the posted speed over my current speed, and so for a few seconds I cannot tell MY speed and have to look at it again after you stop covering it up..
Flash it or make it bigger where you display it normally, but QUIT covering it up.. I ALWAYS wanna see my current speed, so when I look , I see it, and when you replace it , it really is an annoyance and not helpful at all.
( I think you used to display it this way and changed it to the current method if I’m not mistaken)

Hi there. I would suggest to make the speed signs a bit larger. When driving on me motorbike its very hard to read them.

Poder intercalar el limite de velocidad y el velocimetro,justo al contrario de como ahora esta predeterminado,ya que el limite se ve muy pequeño y el velocimetro mas grande,me gustaria poder elegir cual de los dos ver mas grande y tambien poder configurar solo uno ,en caso de que no necesite el velocimetro pero si el limite de velocidad.

Agree, I'm hard of hearing, so don't use audio. The roundabout indication is the biggest problem in Waze for me, simply cannot read it and end up working it out from the map view. Particularly difficult on a high res narrow screen), popular nowadays. Portrait mode.

Her comment is not about the speedometer but about the size of the speedometer icon. it is quite small, especially on CarPlay. If you look at Google Maps, their speedometer icon on Carplay is large and easy to see.

It is a safety hazard to have the speed limit sign so small. My vehicle's screen is in the center console and the tiny speedo is too the far right. I have to take my eyes off of the road for much too long to see the little round number.

I agree! The speedometer & speed limit is WAY too small to glance at and read. I find I have to stare at it too long before I can make out what it says. It's not safe in it's current configuration. Giving resizable options really helps for drivers of all visual acuity.

The speedometer is too small to see especially when the color changes at the speed limit or above. More contrast at the speed limit and above, please.
