Yes, there is a huge band that is hardly used and this is a really important part of the display.

why the speed limit icon is so small, I can not read it on the car infotainment system, can you make it large

In a previous version, 3.8, it was a decent size, but meant that the black bar across the top of the screen obscured quite a lot of map info further ahead. However, at the very left of the top of the screen the map detail is not usually relevant, so the direction icon could be made twice as large (extending below the bottom of the black background bar) while the text with the road name is kept at the same size (and does the black background really need to extend across the full width of the screen?). Ideally this should all be customizable.

At present it is impossible to read which exit number to take at roundabouts.

I totally agree! I am 45 and have just purchased an Android Auto head unit. I use Waze and love it. However, I have trouble seeing the speed because of both the size, and the color. Please, please, please give us the options to both change the size as well as the color.

Instead of the small, mean spedometer at bottom left, why not have the current speed limit as a large, transparent number that sits on top of the map? This could be engineered so as to be clearly visible yet not blanking out important parts of the map.

Make the speed limit and speedometer bigger. Give us the chance to customize the size. I have to wear my reading glasses to read the thing now

Allow the size, colour, contrast and location of the speedometer to be user set. It is very hard to read especially in bright light (no roof on the car).

Increase size of speedo by "pinchspread" method. Place "pinched" thumb and index finger down on speedo then spread fingers apart to achieve desired size

A suggestion for improvement:
Please consider increasing the size of the Speed Limit sign. I find it very hard to see and with all the screen real estate available there should not be any reason not to.

Enlarge the speed limit view. We can see our own on speedometer. Makes it too cluttered to have both. Or reverse them.
