Depending on the vehicle navigation screen display size, selecting the"What do you see" button in the bottom right of the map display could prove to be a distraction when reaching farther across the screen and driving simultaneously.

May I suggest changing the title "Steering wheel side dependent UI"?
I was about to suggest the same, for the cars with steering wheel on the left side, all important elements are on the far off right side of the screen. So, to make a report or open the media player I have to reach out all the way to the right - while driving.
I'd like to have those symbols on the same side of the screen my steering wheel is on. Maybe have a setting in the app to be able to pick the side the steering wheel is on and reflect the positioning in the UI

Can the position of the "Report" button in the in-car system be automatically adjusted based on the driver's seat position in the country where the user is located?
Avoid car accidents by reducing the time the driver take hands off the steering wheel. -

Move the yellow reporting icon from the bottom right to the bottom left. This makes it easier for the driver to access without having to lean across the car to access the icon on my car play screen.

Since newer car displays are often very large, drivers struggle to reach the notification button to warn other users about traffic etc, since it's on the right side.
It would be useful to have an option to swap controls on the screen to have it close to the steering wheel and to avoid distractions while trying to reach it. -

When making a report (i.e. Hazard, Traffic, etc.), the options appear on the left side of the vehicle's infotainment screen. For those of us with right-hand drive vehicles, this means an inconvenient reach to the other side of the screen. It would be better if the user specify whether they have a left or right drive vehicle, and have the reporting choices appear on the side closest to the driver.

The fact that the signal button is on the right side and I'm having hard time to hit that button while driving, it would be nice to have it closer to the driver.
Thank you :)

The reroute button in CarPlay just got move from the left side the the right side of the screen. Most commonly used button now is too far of a reach for a driver. Dumb dumb dumb. Please for the love of Waze move it back to the left side of the car play screen

Put a second yellow button on drivers side so you don’t have to reach across. The passenger could use the right button.

I think it would be safer if the small orange circle for reporting were on the left side of the screen closer to the driver.

To reduce the amount of time it takes to report a road hazard, I propose moving the report button from the right side of the screen to the left side of the screen (Closer to the driver in a left-hand drive vehicle). Or allow it to be moved to a convenient location on the screen.

In my opinion, the orange button for creating alerts such as police, accident etc. is placed on the wrong side. It should be place as near as possible to the wheel which is not the case currently. I find it very dangerous that I need to move my hand farther away from the wheel as necessary to reach the button. The button is used often I think, since it is an essential tool of waze.
