Remove WORK from My Waze.
Provide option for the User to remove WORK from being one of the Where To selections in My Waze. I would imagine many users are Retired, like me, and just assume not have it 'cluttering' up the list.

Please allow users to remove the work icon.

This thread has been around for years. Will it ever be done? I wonder how difficult is to hide a simple button that lots of people are not using. Can't be that complex, I don't understand why this still is being shown.

Not everyone has a fixed work location, and not everyone works!

This really should have been updated to allow for customization by now. So many people using Waze don’t need the “Work” box, but do need to add more favorites. Love the app, please update it.

Retired or working from home and don't like it showing up in my list as hard picked k. Annoying

I, like many, work from home. So the "Work" button is not what I need. Let us remove it as it just takes up the screen on Apple CarPlay that I could instead use for saved places.

I don't type very well so I agree with this copy+pasted reply. "In the favorites location, please remove the category of “Work” or allow that the work category to be optional. Those of us that are retired or for those working from home, “Work” is a mandatory category that is not used and cannot be re-ordered."

Not everybody works or has a workplace away from home. There needs to be the option to remove the work button or at least move its position form the 2nd spot.

I have no use for the WORK Saved Place, and it unnecessarily clutters the interface under the "Where to?" search field. Please provide an option to disable the WORK Saved Place.

Not everyone is part of the labour force, many are disabled, retired, etc. removing or allowing us to rename the permanent ‘work’ location would be a great way to be inclusive for users in these categories. Thanks!

The work shortcut is permanently present, even if 'removed". Removing only clears the address and it takes up unnecessary space on shortcuts that would have more convenient shortcut. Or, make it obey the shortcut ordering.

I now work for home and yet every morning I get notification to leave for work. A lot of people don't have a single place of work and don't want to get reminder to leave for work and yet this simple thing seems to be missing

please also make these notification settings more prominent because it is very frustrating to get unneeded notifications, especially at the start of the day

I work from home but every day Waze tells me how long it would take to get to work. I don’t want to have a work address saved at all. I have no use for it. When I select the pencil, I can’t remove the address. It only lets me put in a different address.

I cannot delete the Work saved place by long pressing. It only removes the address and not the icon. I am retired and do not have a work address and would like to use this for an address of my choosing.

Millions of Wazers work remotely or are retired. Please make this forced location removable or at least hideable.

When "Home" and "Work" are the same address (as in work from home), daily reminders that it is currently "0m to Work but that could change" are not only entirely pointless, they are annoying.

Default to not display Home and Work address. Think of it like this: you're driving colleagues to lunch on the spur of the moment. Why do they all need to know your address? Not safe for females is it? That's lawsuit territory. This is such an oversight that I've set a home address of a shop nearby. Another example; female has a date and has kept her employment information private. Gives date a lift, now date knows her address. If something happens to her, that's a pretty big lawsuit for you guys. It's showing it on the screen, to everyone in the car and anyone leaning in the window having a chat. I know where I work, I know where I live. No one else needs this information.
Secondly, the press of the current object status (that's the is it Still There? button) is probably the single most distracting event. Yes it needs to stay, but this needs to be as close to the driver side as possible. It's harder to look at the furthest side of the screen, especially when you're doing freeway speeds. Takes a couple more seconds at 100kph - and that's how many metres travelled without looking ahead?
