Do not change the speech-to-text language when in another country
My telephone and Waze are set to The Netherlands/ Dutch language
My speech to text standard is set to Dutch.
When I was in Brussels Belgium today, I wanted to add a new navigation and spoke the Dutch written address in Dutch language, but Waze tried to make French words and numbers of it. Brussels is French languistic, but does that mean that Waze automatically tries to find addresses in the language of the country (or part of) where it is at the moment? I had to type the address in, when after 3 attempts of speaking the address and getting weird french names/streets I stopped.
IF this feature is indeed installed in Waze, to automatically switch to the local language of the speech-to-text function, then this should be shown or be present as an option when in another country, or when driving in a partially different language part of a country.
