Is there a way to disable Drive Now from popping up every time Waze starts with Android Auto? I get how some people may find this useful but it is a big annoyance for me and more often than not I select a destination by accident instead of the X to close (my Mazda does not have touch screen, rather a control knob). If it is not an option can it please be added as an option to disable in a future update

This is the most obnoxious feature I've seen in a long time. It's also totally useless. PLEASE get rid of it!!!

This is the single largest problem I have with Waze; it's an unnecessary step for most uses and disrupts delivery drivers' flow plus endangers us and those around us as we're pulling away from the previous stop and having to tap through multiple screens even after indicating we wanted to initiate travel.

Drive Now pop up freezes my waze. It should be optional.

I have to switch apps for waze to work again. Never happemed before when this feature was not there.

I know where I'm going most of the time I drive, so I don't need to have an option for guidance that appears EVERYTIME I start the car. It doesn't close on its own and it's really annoying to have to close it EVERYTIME I start the car.

Yes!! Waze should be more like Google Maps with the option to just “Start” (button on Google Maps) the route! It’s extremely frustrating to have to tap the screen 3-5 times after selecting my destination

Hey waze, why is it that anyone who gets in my car gets to see my address or the last few places I visited? Do I need the "drive now" menu to automatically come up when I connect to my android auto equipped vehicle (NO!). My boss got in my car a few days ago, up pops my waze drive now menu and low and behold, the last place I looked up was a weed dispensary the prior night...weed is legal here, but is that what I want my boss to see? The other day I had a heated discussion with someone and they leaned into my car and had a good look at my address, why did I have to spend a few nervous hours wondering if they will just show up to my house. I know where I am going 99% of the time, I don't need the drive now menu popping up right away...just make it an option! It can be easily opened if I really need to look something up instead of having to close it every time I get in my car and don't need it!

Drive now box is useless to every delivery driver that uses your app, we don't drive back to those places! It is a **** near privacy violation for anybody who does ride share. The fact that you have this pop up is absurd, the fact that you have no way of disabling it is infuriating. There is no reason whatsoever for you to be having pop-up boxes that can't be disabled for any reason! In case you haven't been on the internet for the last 20 years, nobody likes pop-up boxes!

Totally agree. It is so annoying that we have to close it manually all the bloody time. Disable it or have it go off the screen after 5 seconds

Please let us disable this. It is annoying and against privacy. I need to transport people in my car and they do not have to see drive history when i start my car, they have no business with that. But since i cannot disable this stupid option, everybody who enters my car knows where i have been last.
Disable this now!
