Yeah this update is super frustrating, and dangerous. If I'm driving and switch to Waze from Spotify, this stupid "Drive Now" pop-up is in the way of half the map. I can't be targeting a small "X" icon to remove that while driving! Please get rid of this pop-up. You've created a new problem with no added benefits.

When Waze starts the "Drive Now" box is presented on the full screen and stays there is it is populated with previous routes.

This OK if one of the previous routes is required, but more often than not they are not and the user is required to manually dismiss the box by activating the X button on the box to enable the full screen to be fully displayed.

Request is to enable this box to be automatically dismissed from the screen either by a Pre detirmined time period after start up OR by setting it to dismiss at some Pre determined speed once driving is commenced and a selection has not been made from the box.

Another option would be to have the drive now pop-up disappear went the car starts moving.

Mine just updated (I think this is the coolwalk update I keep hearing about) now this annoying drive now window pops up everytime I start my car and I have to close it to see full map, with no option to disable it!?This is very annoying for people who use waze without a planned route but use it for traffic, hazards, etc notifications

When selecting a destination, Waze can skip the many screens that need to be clicked through, and start navigation on map immediately.

To allow customizing routes or undo, show "overview" / "details/undo" small popups for a few seconds at navigation start.

The amount of clicks it currently takes to start nav on map is just too much.

The timer in the "Go now" button is very stressing.

I'm looking at the presented info, checking what in the lots of stuff that's on screen is clickable, ... but I gotta hurry because that timer is going to run out and the whole screen will change.

Makes absolutely no sense.
Just disable the timer or allow me to do it in the settings

Please remove the Go now button. Reason is why need that step when destination is entered?

If possible, please kindly remove the GO NOW button, i would like to see maps directly, i am an ehailing driver, thank you

In the settings there should be a way to disable that countdown "Go Now" most of the time what we want is to know which direction to go immediately and not receive statistics on the way and so on.

Quando escolhemos um destino o Waze apresenta o Botão IR AGORA com um temporizador. Ao clicar no botão o percurso é iniciado. O problema é que clicar neste botão é um incômodo desnecessário. Se escolhemos um destino é porque queremos ir imediatamente. Não precisa aparecer um botão para iniciar a rota. Basta iniciar direto. Poderia haver um item nas configurações do app para desabilitar este botão.

Currently after entering a destination the "go now" counter will wait 5 seconds before automatically showing the route. I would like a setting to make this zero seconds. Essentially, automatically showing the route immediately after it has been calculated.

This is handy when driving for ride share. We don't get the rider's info until they enter the car. Knowing which way to go as soon as possible is important in many situations. Over the course of a day of driving ride share I will press "go now" around a hundred times - never needing to change anything on that initial screen. Plus if I ever needed that screen, it is available at anytime by pressing on the bottom bar.

If I ever go back to the ride share app and press "navigate", taking mr back to Waze (instead of manually switching apps) the calculating route screen comes up again, even if the route is already loaded and no changes have been made. I again will need to press "go now" to see the route (or wait 5 seconds)

In general, my experience is that I'm constantly pressing "go now" - so it feels like I'm fighting the app. The default could very well be to show the route immediately.

I love waze more than every other navigation app.. with the exception of this button, which no other navigation app has.

I get some people like it, so give us the option. Button for those who like it.. no button for those who absolutely hate the damn thing.

The current sequence in ios12 is
Tap search icon
(search bar should be present when app first opens)
Type address
Select address
Tap go (or go later)
Wait
Tap to 'go now'

That's really poor interaction.

Once I've selected my destination and chosen between 'go later' and 'go' why do you then force me to 'look for a better time to go' 'add a stop' and then the infuriating 'go now'.

I already indicated my desire to go when opening the app, and indicated my desire to go 'Now' when I didn't choose 'go later'.

Adding a stop, checking routes, sharing destination, could be done from that first screen or from the map once underway.

PLEASE remove Go Now button when getting destinations from Lyft/Uber apps. There is essentially never a need for this use. Any reduction in time to seeing first direction move greatly appreciated.

Remove the damned irritating GoNow button.

It is obvious I want to "go now" if I selected a fucking destination. I don't use Waze for anything else.

And increase the Cop warning from the utterly useless 450 meters to at least 1.5 km. Or let us decide how far with an option for it.

Add mode for Transportation Network Company driving:

- Remove countdown when GPS is pushed to Waze from TNC apps.

- Remove "Go Now" button. When TNC app pushes through GPS coordinates, I just want Waze to take me there. This another 2 seconds we have to take our eyes off the road.

- Destination Flag: Show an approximate address instead of just showing the flag.

- Destination Arrival Time-out: Keep the address or flag showing for a few seconds after arriving.
