Allow users to set routing preferences based on factors other than journey time
Waze comes up with some extraordinary routes to minimise journey time, but the best route is a combination of several factors. How about allowing users to set preferences for other factors such as shorter distance, minimising turns, best fuel consumption etc.

I drive Mazda MX-30, a "short-range" EV with a range of ~150 to 200km, depending on weatherconditions, speed and driving style.
A few days ago, I set up a 60km-route in an metropolitan area. Due to some trafic, waze made it a 80km trip to save some minutes in driving time, same for the way back. In Germany, when it come so costs, it makes a huge difference to charge at home or charge in public (2 to 3 times more expensive). Also there are not many fast charging points.
So saving range is essential for me, loosing 2 ore 3 minutes is not.
Plus: While an petrol-car is efficient on higher speeds like 80 to 120 km/h, an EV gets bonuses from lower speeds and urban traffic. In town I have a consumption from 12 to 16 kw/100km, on the Autobahn at 100km/h i have a consumtion of 15 to19 kw/100km.
