Please allow the map screen to be displayed on iphone screen at same time as being connected to CarPlay via cable.

My phone is secured right up at top of dashboard for safer view of map whilst keeping eye on the road ahead.

However I can’t use any of the features of CarPlay, as, as soon as it’s connected to CarPlay, the map disappears from my iphone screen. Which is less than ideal. The In car screen is really low down in my car… and I think a lot of people would benefit from this feature….

Unfortunately at present it only shows directions on phone screen when connected to CarPlay via cable.

Hope this is an easy fix and something that can be implemented really soon.
